-Blossom brought everyone here with her spell book, via performing some kind of ritual. She was calling for help from “Strong Personalities” but “accidentally” called everyone to the pasture instead. The implication seems to be that she intended to call some people, but not this many people. Or that she intended to just keep calling groups of people until she found a bunch that were willing to stay. Regardless, she still had housing available for everyone who arrived. While here, everyone is meant to inspire the empty husks--the sheep without souls that wander the pasture--and to inspire the world itself.
-In order to send everyone home (because she messed up and brought way too many people/unwilling people) Blossom asked for a blood sacrifice for her ritual spell. That turned into a mess, a demon ram was summoned that was pissed at the lack of proper blood sacrifice, killed all of Rose, and then left.
-When Rose died they met “Death,” which is an actual three-headed coyote(?) or canine demon of some kind that they could speak to. She promptly kicked Rose out of her realm and with everyone’s assistance they were able to return to their healed-up bodies.
-Despite all of the mess, the ritual sort of worked. The fountain in the middle of town is the portal that can send people home! But it only works randomly; people have no way of knowing when it will pull someone home. Jumping into the fountain does nothing.
-Blossom was referred to as “Priestess” by Death and probably others that I can’t be bothered to remember. I don’t know if the Snake knows that term, he only calls her “traitor”.
-There are were?? demon rams in the forest. A few members of Thistle followed Red into the mist surrounding this place and found a demon ram in a cave that appeared to have turned quite a few people into gold statues. The demon asked for a sacrifice in order to lift some of the mist; the demon specifically asked Thistle’s shepherd for a sacrifice and not anyone else present. They refused, but the ram still attempted to turn one of them into a gold statue and they fled. (Later they went back and blew him up.)
-The sheep are weird! The sheep (aside from Blossom and Stormy) used to look completely dead inside, like empty, lifeless husks. Now they will move around and do things, but only after they’ve been trained. That’s weird, what’s up with that.
-Like a day or two after everyone arrived, the Snake approached Bluebell and lied to them, saying Death needed their help, and tricked them all into dying and putting a collar on Death. The Snake somehow used this to steal her powers and use an aspect of her (her Sight, specifically) to ask the rest of the Flocks questions about death. Lily intentionally died so that they could rip open the underworld and help Bluebell come back to life. Lily and Clover still “failed” the ritual by not answering the questions in the way Death preferred and ended up with adverse side effects (phantom limbs). After that, Death's Eye has remained on the fountain in the middle of town. Please look up notes on Death for more information.
-The Snake brought the “black collars” aka “Weeds” to the pasture by harnessing the power of Death that he'd stolen.
-We “borrowed” Blossom’s spell book in order to see if any additional information could be gleaned from it that she wouldn’t reveal herself, since she is unfortunately unnecessarily cagey towards the people she claims to want to help.
-Anyone except Blossom reading the book is known to have adverse effects and could possibly summon a demon ram or turn them into a wolf.
-Attempting to read Blossom's spell book summoned some skeleton wolves out of the ground to attack. The skeleton wolves all had bells around their necks, like the ones that the current flocks wear; we now know that there are sheep and wolf bones buried all over the pasture and that there are things in the mist that can turn people into wolves. If wolves or monsters that are inside of the mist bite you then you turn into a werewolf and you need either a weird blood ritual where you die or some wolfsbane to reverse the effects. Don’t recommend getting bitten by one. Anyways, Red stole the spell book back and returned it to Blossom after all of that.
-Weeds can turn into members of a “flock” and members of a “flock” can turn into Weeds. (Lethe went from Weeds to > Lily and Knight Devil went from Rose > Weeds.)
-Anyways that all happened within the first week or two and it only gets wilder from there, we're very sorry and also welcome.
