THE BOOK

A book that sits out on the counter at the clinic in the pasture. A note on the very first page reads:

This is a compilation of information we've obtained or figured out so far. If you have anything to add, please write it in.

Should you try to remove the book from the clinic, you'll find a green sheep blocking your exit. The sheep will not move until you set the book back down.

-Some of this is also Mist information

-Hey look this is some tragic backstory on the wolf king as told by the snake, or something.

-Blossom is a traitorous fiend responsible for the “disappearance” of the Wolf King’s only child. The Snake also said that “they” killed the Wolf King’s only child. “They” implies Blossom and Stormy? The Snake mentioned both “disappearance” and “killed,” so it’s unclear if a body was found or not. Honestly it’s also unclear if she actually killed anyone or not. Various conversations have implied that the Wolf King’s child did indeed only disappear and not die, so take this series of events with a grain of salt.

-The Snake heard of this information secondhand; this murder happened “before his time”. But as a “descendant of [the Wolf King’s] loyal servants” he’s been tasked with “bringing her and her ward (Stormy, probably?) to justice” in the form of destroying the pasture. He claims that the Weeds that help will be “fairly compensated” by both himself and the king. And that he’ll return Weeds safely to their realms. (Just as a note, it seems highly unlikely that he knows how to do that.)

-The Wolf King is a king who rules beyond the mist. (He is apparently in the mist, since multiple people have encountered him.) According to the Snake, he is “Kind, benevolent, and powerful!” His words, not mine. And he rules over all “the people of beasts”.

-There aren’t any other servants outside of the Mist other than the Snake. “Traitors don’t count,” implying Blossom was a servant at one point?

-The Mist does not harm any fanged beasts. This so far includes: the Snake, Red, and the Weeds. No idea if this counts weeds that have become members of a flock, we haven't tested it yet.

-The Snake confirmed that Weeds can technically walk through the Mist just fine, although it wouldn’t stop the monsters within it from attacking. So, the monsters that live in the Mist also probably count as fanged beasts.

-Anyone under Blossom’s protection is deemed a “sheep” and can’t get through the Mist (even if they’re an actual fanged beast). The sheep are trying to keep the Mist at bay on purpose, presumably for this reason.

-Even though Weeds aren’t under Blossom’s protection, she could still send them back home like she does to the members of Flocks. The problem is that who gets sent back is random.

-Weeds now have the Wolf King’s Blessing. This means they can unnecessarily summon demons to make everyone’s lives more difficult.

-The Snake mentioned “that wretch” also has the blessing, possibly Blossom? He doesn’t seem to know how she’s using her powers.
